Job Description:
Compliance will be responsibilities for assisting in the development and implementation of safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations on natural gas business unit construction projects. Responsible for OSHA compliance activities on natural gas business unit construction projects. Compliance activities are described above. Work with construction contractors in developing and implementing compliance processes, procedures and training programs to ensure that company projects are constructed in compliance with all regulations and permit conditions. Develop safety inspection programs and track associated budgets for construction projects. Provide cost-effective recommendations and alternatives to company management and Project Managers, Operations staffs regarding safety, health and other EHS compliance issues that affect company construction projects. Develops and trains current and new field and corporate EHS personnel. Supervises third party inspectors/consultants that provide compliance support services to company and manages their schedules and costs. Interact directly with federal, state, and local officials. Participate in the Safety Technical Work Group and provide support in other Environmental, Health and Safety functional areas as needed.
