Job Description:
Manage the strategic and day-to-day aspects of its Supply Chain Department. - Procurement of goods and contracted services, warehousing/distribution of materials and tools, oversight of purchasing and customer service/order processing functions, and continuous oversight of replenishment and vendor managed inventory programs. - Coordinate with other organizations to ensure procurement policy guidelines are understood and followed, and policies are consistent with laws, rules and regulations governing the company. - Establish goals for Procurement and Material Management functions, making business plans for ongoing and future expenses. - Monitor budget performance for Procurement and Materials Management. - Perform personnel activities such as performance appraisals, employee discipline, motivation and counseling, interface with executives and management to resolve discrepancies. - Manage procurement of goods and services management, inventory management, material and tool distribution management, and warehousing and investment recovery management programs. - Apply "Supply Chain best practices", when applicable, such as Strategic Sourcing. - Represent department or company on internal and external work teams, i.e., Strategic Teaming and Resource Sharing (STARS), and Nuclear Energy Institute Material and Services Benchmarking Team - NEI. - Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Organization as required. - Resolve problems and interpersonal conflicts in the department
