Water system evaluations Responsibilities of this position include the design engineering work on the municipal wastewater treatment and industrial wastewater projects. Usually these projects involve work on wastewater collection and treatment facilities with groundwater contamination issues, piping systems or pumping facilities. Typical work includes: 1. Plan and design engineering work in wastewater treatment facilities. 2. Act as part of a team of professionals headed by a Project Manger on one or more projects. 3. Interact with team members on the project and be able to conduct analyses relative to the project assigned. 4. Must be able to devise new solutions to problems encountered, and may receive technical guidance for extremely unusual or complex problems.
