Optimise the use of resources. Prioritise maintenance tasks. Implement a preventative maintenance focus and culture. Implement a Ë no-compromise\' culture of safe work practice. Guide and advise the NBC Management Team to make sound capital and maintenance decisions. Maintain high plant performance in an environment of strict cost management. Prioritise maintenance across the department given finite resources. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: Ensure compliance to all Foster\'s HSE requirements: Involvement in Strategy Development and Implementation within Packaging Operations Be involved in the development and implementation of strategies which ensure that Packaging operations develop in line with the Corporate Vision. Cost Control Manage the budget for the Maintenance Business Unit. People Development Build the NBC Engineering capability. Manage the NBC Maintenance team\'s performance and discipline. Manage training and development activities for NBC Maintenance team members. Reliability Assurance Implement and maintain a Reliability Assurance program at NBC. Capital & Capability Planning Maintain an NBC Asset Register. Lead the NBC capital planning process and manage the associated resources. Ensure that projects are managed to the approved standards in relation to health, safety and environment. Ensure that capital projects are managed to achieve the best outcome, in terms of cost control, efficiency, process optimisation, documentation and knowledge transfer. Manage the capability needs of NBC to support the introduction of new products, materials and processes. Process Improvement Ensure all process improvement activities comply with health, safety and environmental principles and standards. Identify and prioritise process improvements opportunities. Manage the resources and processes required to improve performance at NBC. Provide expert advice on the identification and capture of major issues affecting, or anticipated to affect operations at NBC. Document control Ensure the capture and transfer of knowledge associated with capital projects and process improvement activities. Ensure the control of records relating to capital and maintenance processes.
