Information about ARRIS products and services can be found at Manager, Software Quality Assurance Engineering Manage team of WorkAssure engineers that provide quality assurance to a mobile workforce product in the Assurance business unit. Manage test planning, design, and execution; release management; and product quality improvement processes. Key Duties & Responsibilities (in decreasing Critical Emphasis order) Represent Quality Assurance in Product Release Process meetings, participating in project decisions including triage and prioritization of software bugs and enhancements. Review and improve current practices and set strategic goals for improving quality through planning, enforcement of quality gates, metrics, and regression test automation. Accountable for success of product quality strategies Review functional specs and contribute to product design from a quality and testability perspective. Document, design and execute test plans directing work of the Quality Assurance team. Review and improve current practices and strategies for software integration and system test. Manage test resources including test servers, application software, third party supporting software, and set-top boxes. Schedule use of lab resources between test, development, and system engineering efforts.
