POSITION SUMMARY: Protects and promotes the Whataburger Brand. Reviews resumes and applications for Divisional positions to determine the most qualified applicants for first interviews. Writes and places advertisement postings. Oversees reference checks, background checks, motor-vehicle reports, proof of liability insurance, and drug screens are conducted on management and divisional new hires and promotions. Ensures all have been completed as required before approving hires and/or promotions. Maintains accurate and thorough records by tracking applicants, interview results, recruiting results, new hire date and wages. Tracks background, employment, motor vehicle reports, proof of liability insurance and drug screen results. Assists in controlling trainee and management turnover. Keeps abreast of recruiting and retention trends in the market. Produces reports to reflect recruitment trends. Analyzes information regarding turnover and hiring statistics. Creates planning reports and data tracking for the Division and communicates information to the Operations Teams. Analyzes data and makes recommendations on ways to reduce turnover. Completes and monitors staffing, new hire, rehire and turnover reports on a monthly basis. Reviews, updates and communicates available recruiting tools for use in Whataburger restaurants to announce employment opportunities to existing customers. Significantly responsible for ensuring all aspects of recruitment throughout the region meet Whataburger standards. Accountable for ensuring staffing goals are maintained and recruiting budget is aligned with Company projections. Manages Zone Coordinators throughout regions.
