Job Description:
Project Manager for our headquarters office located in lower Manhattan. This individual will be responsible for the collecting and documenting of business requirements for Human Resources Information Systems projects. Qualifications: JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide, was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with type 1 diabetes a disease which strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin-dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. Since inception, JDRF has provided more than $1.16 million in direct funding to diabetes research. More than 80% of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education. JDRF's mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Requirements JDRF is seeking a dynamic individual, who is a team player and has excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of business analysis experience, BA or AA degree, and extensive computer skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, thorough knowledge of Human Resources applications and process, experience in the Oracle HRM implementation, and ability to understand both Information Technology and application development concepts are also required. The knowledge of Oracle Financials and ADP's HR Perspective is also a plus.
