Job Description: The incumbent serves as Officer Assignment Manager at a large, multi-mission installation. Monitors officer authorizations and assignment in view of installation needs. The incumbent analyzes military personnel assignments to ensure proper manning of the installation's functions and operations and to determine personnel requirements. Incumbent reviews and analyzes cases, develops recommendations, and presents applications for the correction of military records to boards and deciding officials as Service/Component level. Incumbent manages several military personnel action programs for an installation: awards, promotions, schools. assignments, requirements and separations, recruitment and retention and special actions. Incumbent serves as System Analysts/Manager with responsibility for operation, maintenance and management of automated system for military personnel. Major Duties: The incumbent of this position provides specialized knowledge and expertise of military personnel practices and program in support of the organization's personnel management and mission requirements.
