Job Description:
Electrical/Mechanical Technicians with Procedural Writing experience in MS Word for a project in the Tampa Florida area.
This position is a 6 month Contract to Hire and requires skill in:
• MS Word
• Astoria (or willing to learn)
• Strong electrical +/or mechanical aptitude
• The ability to develop equipment descriptions
• The ability to develop equipment descriptions conceptually
• The ability to document maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to learn quickly and adjust to new or different terminology as required
• Travel is required for this position (25%).
• No telecommuting
To provide technical writing to develop procedural, operating and maintenance manual for new equipment.
* Essentially we are looking for Technicians with experience with writing procedures, equipment instruction to create User Documentation for Electrical/Mechanical equipment
* We are not looking for Technical Writers (by profession) unless they possess the actual technician experience and/or mechanical aptitude
* Hobbiest with interest in rebuilding engines, machinery or other electrical or
