Job Description:
Fast growing consumer finance company is seeking a Credit Manager to join the Management Team. Person should be a self-starter with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills to oversee the underwriting and verification processes at the corporate office in Cleveland, TN. Responsibilities include participating and directing the daily activities of the Credit Department, including analyzing, evaluating and making credit decisions, verification of credit applications, maintaining computerized loan performance database, developing internal controls and streamlining processes for improvements, auditing new loan packages to ensure proper documentation for compliance, and managing a growing department (accountability, performance reviews, scheduling). Candidates will also be responsible for the analysis and generation of internal reporting packages and additional projects assigned by Executive Management. Skills: Applicant should have a four year college degree or multiple years experience in credit and consumer loan management with a solid understanding of the sales and finance process, and the ability to analyze applications for credit worthiness. Interested candidates must possess strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in Information Systems administration and Microsoft Access is strongly preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work a 5-day work week, including Saturdays.
