Who is our ideal candidate? Master's degree in business, finance, economics or closely related. Min 2 years of portfolio management experience working with fixed income securities and their trading characteristics; in-depth knowledge of financial related reporting, including statutory & IFRS investment accounting; asset liability management in an insurance environment. Experience must have included working with MS Excel Modeling and Bloomberg. What are the job responsibilities? Work with Senior Portfolio Manager in managing ING life insurance general account fixed income investment portfolio by effectively supporting the creation and execution of portfolio strategy and client relationship management while adhering to portfolio constraints and objectives defined in the Investment Mandate. Coordinate investment activities with asset sector specialists to ensure client objectives are balanced while delivering top tier investment results for portfolio. Work with clients to review ALM issues, assist in the implementation of Proprietary Fixed Income's relative value strategy at portfolio level and direction of overall strategy. Utilize Bloomberg System and other platforms to review assets, research historical data, and identify relationships. Draw on financial, quantitative, and economic skills/background to produce original analysis to support organization. Incorporate information from various sources and perspectives, recommend a solution, and communicate effectively with management. What else can we tell you?
