Job Description:
Position: Environmental Project Manager (Environmental Engineer or Geologist)
Industry: Environmental Consulting – UST & Industrial Remediation projects
Office Location: Tukwila, Washington (near Seattle)
Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 annual salary plus generous bonus and benefits package including 100% medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, etc.
DESCIPTION:
Twenty year old Environmental Consulting firm with seven currently operating offices throughout the west region; actively seeks senior technically skilled and environmental industry experienced Engineer or Geologist to take on Senior Environmental Project Manager role within our Tukwila, Washington office.
Ideal and qualified candidates will posses a minimum of 5 years of environmental industry experience; bachelors or masters degree in geology or engineering (may be environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical); and current status as a licensed professional geologist, PG or professional engineer, PE (required). Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER training is also preferred.
Strong candidates will have considerable environmental consulting experience with reference to environmental assessment of remediation of hydrocarbon- impacted soil and groundwater. Primary responsibilities of this Environmental Project Manager will be to provide senior technical report review and to assist in project management duties including scheduling and budget tracking and control.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Assure consistency among Project Managers as well as performance for multiple sites
- Participate in key client and regulatory meetings
- Ensure regional program issues are addressed and communicated throughout the organization
- Act as key contract contact
- Provide high-end technical support on complex projects
- Provide senior oversight of remediation projects, regulatory negotiations and staff development

Our firms Environmental areas of expertise are extremely varied, with an emphasis in managing projects related to the known or suspected release of fuel hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, metals, priority pollutants, acids and bases, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and dioxins. Our projects have ranged in size from less than $1,000 to more than $3 million at completion.
