Job Description:
The DCU Center in Worcester is looking for an experienced Banquet Supervisor for its Convention Center. The banquet department handles the food & beverage service, both plated and buffets for numerous types of functions. Banquet supervisor will be responsible for the day to day execution of catering events, some record keeping and light scheduling duties. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule ( nights, weekends, mid-shifts, and some early mornings).
Bqt Spv will assume the responsiblities of the Banquet Manager in his absence.
Qualifications:
* 1 year as a hotel / catering banquet supervisor, or 2 years as a banquet captain, or banquet servers with 3 years of experience ready to advance their careers.
* ability to read, write, and communicate English
* able to work a flexible schedule
* able to work independently and make decisions on the go
* able to work in a fast paced environment, and meet deadlines
