Job Description:
Requirements: Responsible for the direct supervision and management of patient care services and professional and non-professional employees, and management of material resources for assigned area/unit. Under the general supervision of Director, responsible for the care delivered by nursing personnel in an assigned area or unit, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Incumbents are subject to call-back as required by the hospital. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of patient care utilizing the continuous quality improvement process. Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilize independent judgment.
