Press Releases, researching, tracking and pitching stories with media relations, creating targeted media lists for pitch Requirements: Journalism and/or Public Relations students preferred. Experience or interest in working in a performing arts or nonprofit setting and a knowledge of opera, music or the performing arts is preferred. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently as well as with a team, extremely detail oriented with precise results, and regularly read and are familiar with news media. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet required.
