Job Description:
The PR intern works on a variety of projects to strengthen the Chapter's visibility in our 90- county service area, supports marketing efforts for the fundraising and services departments, and provides information to important audiences on MS and the organization. Responsibilities: Miscellaneous writing assignments for Chapter newsletter, web site and other agency communication vehicles Develop press releases and place stories about agency services, programs and special events Review and update agency media list to ensure accurate distribution of press materials Skills Knowledge of Word, Excel, and internet Must be dependable and punctual Good organizational skills Must have some leadership qualities and care about the other volunteers, participants, and organization as a whole Creative. Ability to work independently Desire to provide excellent customer service and treat everyone with the utmost respect . Good written and verbal communication. Positive attitude. National MS Society - Gateway Area Chapter The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education
