Job Description:
Candidates should have solid experience with web redesigns and associated creative skills, and a good understanding front-end to back-end development. Experience and understanding of digital design is key. Responsibilities This internship will work across a variety of different accounts and candidates must be proactive members of a team. You will report to the Portland management and work with clients through the Northwest region, but will also be expected to work with clients on a national scale. Excellent writing skills, understanding of media relations, ability to interface with clients and answer questions is a must. The position also requires good attention to detail, the ability to manage up and down, and an interest in the growing the digital business unit. Qualifications Web experience should include an ability to design web sites with guidance from account management. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong familiarity with HTML, CSS, Ajax, PHP, Flash, and Dreamweaver. Design programs associated with CS3 should be your strong suit. In addition, an understanding of Web 2.0 and digital communications tools is helpful. Knowledge of Flash and video programs is also helpful , as is the ability to move between work on traditional PR accounts and new media/digital projects seamlessly.
