Job Description:
Essential Functions:Manages and coordinates activities of Plant Controllers in Memphis, Tn. and other facilities in the mid-south while functioning as plant controller for the main location outside of Memphis. Coordinates and administers operational control plan pertaining to sales forecasts, accounts payable and receivable, cost standards, savings opportunities, and profit planning. Develops, implements, and maintains processes and procedures for effectuating plan. Compares performance with operating plans and standards. Analyzes and interprets statistical and accounting data to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.Prepares financial statements and special reports as required.Prepares and submits legal reports and documents to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinates and directs the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing and reporting variances. Monitors inventory levels and advises management regarding variances to budget. Provides information and other assistance as requested to various departmental or functional area management personnel to ensure understanding and effective control of budget. Assists Marketing management personnel in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies.Provides leadership to and supervision for Finance department personnel.
