Manufacturing Program Manager - NTSP Operations Assistant IPT Lead Job Description: Responsible for the tactical direction and leadership of assigned Manufacturing program(s) leadership projects within IDS National Theater Security Protection Programs (NTSP) Operations. Working in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Product Team (IPT/CPT) environment, ensuring effective transition of programs from design to manufacturing in alignment with program cost and schedule performance goals. Duties include the coordination of resources within and outside of the Operations IPT needed to support program requirements; participating in planning and coordination of the Manufacturing plans for multiple work centers, including staffing, material procurement, engineering process development, tooling and production and test plans. The position supports deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify hardware design, production capacity, quality and staffing root causes and develop corrective action plans and track actual execution. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years experience in an electronic manufacturing environment with strong technical background in manufacturing engineering or leadership Bachelor's degree (Technical Discipline - Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management. Or Financial/Business Discipline in an Operations setting will be considered) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) applications.
