Using a multi-disciplinary approach, Deloitte Consulting's Automotive industry practitioners work with automotive clients of all types - OEMs, suppliers, dealers and aftermarket - defining challenges and engaging the right team to deliver superior client service to help our clients succeed. Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Our Supply Chain Strategy and Operations capability improves business performance by optimizing the flow of both material and information throughout the supply chain. We assist clients in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that improve customer service levels and drive significant operating and work-in-capital costs. Specific supply chain strategy work can include channel flow analysis; network optimization; supply chain IT assessments and go-forward plans; logistics analysis; and inventory management optimization. We focus on driving improved business performance through the implementation of process, technology and change leadership initiatives. We roll up our sleeves and help our clients achieve true business benefits in the supply chain. We have assisted clients in all aspects of the supply chain - from creating a new sales and operations planning process to implementing a transportation management systems application. We have also developed a significant number of supply chain execution systems, including warehouse and transportation management systems.
