Job Description:
Test, configure and repair all SUN equipment (Servers,Disk Storage, Tape libraries, components) on a daily basis
Is responsible for the proper operation of the WAN/LAN environment (Windows 2000 Active Directory)
Will provide Technical support to customers in order to isolate user errors or issue replacement of components.
Job Requirements:
Strong troubleshooting methodology to isolate fault and repair systems
Extensive knowledge of SUN hardware servers, storage devices from entry level to high end groups
Knowledgeable with Windows 2000, Windows XP to support local office
Must be familiar with Jumpstart, sparc, PXE installations
Strong Unix fundamentals and Debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team.
Certified Solaris Administrator SCNA prefered
3+ Years working with SUN equipment
Strong command of the English language, able to articulate complex ideas in succinct, business terms.
