Job Description:
Art Directors are strongly encouraged to improve their knowledge and skills in advanced graphics software, to be proficient in researching for input (creative resources and examples) to support creative solutions, and to develop their skills in oral presentations for client meetings and creative presentations. To execute the day-to-day processes and responsibilities assigned to a Creative group. Art Directors are responsible for producing high-quality design solutions for print and broadcast that are creative, accurate and meet deadlines. Art Directors work directly with Print Traffic personnel, Copywriters, Senior Art Directors and/or a Creative Director in an effort to execute the creative assignments and work requests of the group. Art Directors are to become familiar with and understand all duties and responsibilities of their assigned Senior Art Director and/or Creative Director and assist on an on-going and as needed basis to complete each of those duties. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or successful completion of an art school or equivalent, relevant experience. Ability to conceptualize new campaigns. 3-5 years experience as an Art Director or Associate Art Director preferred in an advertising or marketing agency.
