Job Description:
Establish relationships with new individuals in the community for the purpose of identifying major gift prospects. · Schedule a system for identifying, making personal contact and follow-up with potential major donors. · Meet one on one with prospective prospects for the purpose of cultivation and gift solicitation. · Work with the Director of Gift Planning to identify potential planned gift donors. · Create proposals for gift opportunities. 2. Work with the Board of Directors to market, educate, and follow up on major gift prospects. · Coordinates all transactions with attorneys, trust companies, appraisers, accounts and investment managers in relation to any major gift. · Provide meaningful ways for the Board to be involved in the process. · Include members of the Board in donor visits, speaking at seminars, and writing articles. · Support Capital Campaign efforts to solicit Major Gift prospects. 3. Design and implement a creative, proactive marketing plan for major gifts · Evaluate establishing a major gift club for John C. Lincoln. · Establish on going communications to promote major gifts. 4. Actively participates in special events held by the Foundation. · Represents the Foundation to local and national publics through personal community visibility by circulating in multiple community and professional groups.
