Job Description:
SPECIFIC TASKS · Performs tasks associated with the design and production of web-based media elements including audio, video, animation and graphics.· Performs tasks associated with the design and production of web-based informational pages and elearning. · Uses design and development techniques that ensure products are in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (Section 508), ADL's Shareable Content Reference Model (SCORM) for Healthcare and industry standards for usability.· Trouble-shoots technical problems such as file compression issues, IT requirement changes, and 508 compliance issues. · Provides expertise on scripting languages associated with multimedia software such as Flash and Lectora (applies action scripting in Flash; uses variables in Lectora).· Provides professional consultations with instructional designers and programmatic staff (aka our clients) Required Skills: A minimum of 3 years experience designing and implementing interactive websites using the following tools: · Adobe Flash · Adobe Photoshop · Adobe Dreamweaver A minimum of 1 year experience using the following web development tools, technologies, and standards: · HTML (Hypertext markup language) · XHTML (Extensible hypertext markup language) · XML (Extensible markup language).
