Fund is the only environmental group to receive an A rating from Wired magazine. Primary Purpose The Senior Director of Fundraising Systems will be responsible for all activities focusing on the viability and effective utilization of information resources to support the organization\'s burgeoning fundraising programs. This position will direct a new Fundraising Systems Department that was recently formed to consolidate all fundraising systems and their support into one unit. The position provides overall business ownership and strategic management of EDF\'s fundraising systems and vendors, as well as leadership and direct supervision for Donor Records, Constituent Services and other system support staff. This position works in close partnership with Development, Membership, Finance, Information Systems and other departments to achieve organization-wide goals. Works with users to analyze and define their needs for systems, services, applications and/or custom solutions. Analyzes business needs and responds accordingly to change(s) requested. A key area of focus during the first two years of employment will be directing the replacement of its core fundraising database systems, including requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation of new systems. Principal Accountabilities 1. Responsible for monitoring fundraising system user perceptions through regular formal/informal meetings, providing feedback to management when required with recommendations for adjustments in services. 2. Analyzes and documents business rules for maximum utilization of the new fundraising database system and other systems, and applies those rules to system configuration. 3. Leads process re-engineering opportunities during project life cycle and ongoing.
