Job Description:
CVC as a means of stewardship and to share ongoing information about the CVC to keep donors and prospective donors informed about our programs and fund-raising efforts. Establish excellent integration and communication with Central Campus Development, Medical Center Development, and Health System Development teams to assure coordination among all personnel, plans and all prospect/donor contacts/cultivation. Support development events as directed by the Medical Center Development office where the CVC is included and those events as proposed by the CVC Directors. The emphasis will be on smaller, more personally focused events such as dinners, small gatherings and out of town programs where the CVC may be featured to present its interests and plans to respective donors. Advance individual, corporate, and foundation relationships on behalf of the CVC that result in philanthropic contributions greater than $1M overall but with special emphasis on a comprehensive strategic fund-raising plan to meet the needs of the CVC. The Director of Development will steward large gifts and will spend a significant effort (approximately 50% time) with prospective and existing donors to further the CVC philanthropic efforts and be actively present and available to donors. The remainderVC Development office and personnel and assuring administrative responsibilities (fund tracking, communication, managing of staff, etc.) are managed well. SuSupervision Provided Supervision is exercised over CVC Development staff (approximately 4-6 staff). Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master\'s degree in related area preferred.
