Job Description:
This position is with a manufacturing company and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient planning, acquisition and movement of raw materials and work-in-process from external suppliers to internal manufacturing processes. Duties include: developing and executing a ”pull” system including the implementation of a component part replenishment process; establishing programs with external suppliers; providing support in meeting customer demand; executing an annual physical inventory; developing an obsolescence avoidance process; and directing the activities of the Warehouse Department supervisors and hourly employees. Job Requirements:
Education: 4-year degree in Business Administration or related field.
Required Skills: 3+ years experience in leading personnel in manufacturing to connect external supplier processes to the manufacturing process; experience in planning and moving raw materials; an understanding of SPC techniques and data collection systems; experience working in process to manufacturing floor; and experience in production scheduling.
