Description:
One would be expected to have experience in, and be able to perform tasks such as:
Participate in all phases of the Release cycle.
Provide input to the project management team for project plans and status reports
Integrate activities with the Development Team and the Operations Team
Interface with Corporate Change and Configuration Management and other CM Departments
Build and configure Releases
Work with tags/labels
Identify potential SOX compliance issues
Update release procedures
Be comfortable with the UNIX command line
Must be able manage multiple projects.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must haves:
Bachelor Degree [ Computer Science or Engineering preferred but not mandatory.]
Minimum 5 years experience developing code in C++ and JAVA and working on the full development life cycle of small to medium size development projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly desired:
Advanced knowledge of UNIX (SUN Solaris), Linux PERL, XML, shell scripting
ANT, makefiles, CruiseControl, continuous integration and extreme programming
Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest, RUP Rational Unified Process and CVS
Pluses:
Familiarity with Remedy, AutoSys, AbInitio or Business Objects.
