We have been retained by our client, in their search for 2 Oracle Database Developers, this is a Full time direct hire opportunity, Located in Albany, NY. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Ideal candidate will be a self starter with a high sense of urgency. This position is for a great company with opportunity for growth and an excellent benefits package.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Oracleฎ Database Developer who understands Oracle databases and DB architecture. We are looking for someone who is creative, logical, and systematic when it comes to analyzing and solving problems
Coding mastery in an Object Oriented language
Excellent grasp of object oriented software concepts; must have the ability to understand what Object oriented concepts are along with their functions.
Must have strong software development foundation: course work in data structures, algorithms, design of programming languages, operating systems, database design
Required Experience (entry level):
Open to recent graduates who have a strong interest in becoming a oracle DB developer
Must have Excellent problem solving skills
Ideal candidate will have a related internship or work experience
Basic knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles.
Strong desire to learn and grow within a organization
Must have a Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
Required Experience (Mid-Senior Level):
Must have 3+ years as a oracle database developer
Ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Database programming with strong experience in Oracle 10g or 11g
Strong experience as a Oracle developer with Oracle
Database logical and physical design, especially using Oracle 10g or 11g.
Ideal candidate will have 5 years experience developing scalable, high performance, distributed, multithreaded DB applications in C (Java, C# or .NET experience a plus).
Expert knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, will look at candidates with equivalent work experience.
