Job Description:
The Senior Associate Director, Therapeutic Operations, Cardiovascular will be the clinical advisor and Medical liaison to the Marketing Department. They will be responsible for setting the strategy for CME, grants, IIS studies, publications, and professional relations for the therapeutic area. This role will supervise the scientific review of concepts and materials submitted for Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) team approval, and be responsible for advisory/consultant board materials/strategies. This position will be the primary point of contact for the appropriate marketing team and will assist in developing strategies and tactics to support an approved brand or near term brand or franchise. Requirements: MD U.S. Licensed Medical degree or U.S. equivalent (required . Minimum of 2 years experience ( preferably 3-5 clinical research experience) in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with medical legal review of promotions materials. The incumbent must have thorough medical/scientific knowledge of the therapeutic area, analytical skills, knowledge of drug development and regulatory requirements, good oral and written communication skills, computer skills and ability to work as part of a team. Board Certification Medical Doctor (preferred .Non – MD Clinical practitioner degree (e.g. Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner), or PhD, or PharmD, with 5-10 years of experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably with clinical research experience.
