Job Description:
The overall responsibility of the Clinical Data Manager II is to coordinate the data management team and to ensure the quality of data such that internal standards and client expectations are satisfied in terms of quality and timeliness. The Clinical Data Manager II is responsible for leading projects for key clients, large, or complex studies and training and mentoring other data management personnel, and improving processes. This position serves as the liaison between data management, project management, the clinical sites, programming, and clients. Education/Qualifications MS or BS in Computer Science, Biology, Nursing, Chemistry or related field. Experience with relational databases or data management systems. Experience with SAS helpful. Knowledge/experience with Oracle Clinical database. Knowledge/experience with drug development. Knowledge/experience preparing accurate study databases.
