Job Description:
The Director of Volunteer Services supervises the work of two paid employees and is responsible for the timekeeping, workload, mandatory training, and annual evaluation of these individuals. SKILLS and EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (minimum): EDUCATION Requirements: Associates Degree required. Bachelors Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Requirements: A minimum of five (5) years of work experience is directly applicable to this position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: Knowledge of Social Sciences, Business Administration, Adult Education, and Personnel Administration is preferred. Previous experience in Volunteer Administration field preferred. Deep commitment to the Catholic Health System Mission and Values. Possess excellent 'people skills' being able to relate well to people with compassion and flexibility. Excellent communicator. Understanding of human needs, behavior and motivational skills as well as the ability to develop the capabilities of others.
