To find out where we are working, call 910.944.7691. We work from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. What if I want to volunteer but don't want to work on a construction site? If you would like to work in the store, join a committee or help around the office, please call Judie at 910.295.1934. Do I need construction skills? No, we love to have volunteers of all different levels. Our construction supervisors are there to help you learn. What do I wear? Please wear closed toe shoes to the site. Wear clothes that you are not afraid to get dirty. If you have a hammer, tape measure, tool belt or gloves, it might be a good idea to bring those along as well. We also recommend bringing a water bottle. How old do I have to be to volunteer? You must be 16 years of age to be on a Habitat worksite. Individual 16 year olds must be with an adult. If there is a group, then the ratio must be 3 youth to 1 adult.
