The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.Organization(s): US Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground, Directorate of Community & Family Activities, Army Community Services Div., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MDAbout the Position: Performs extensive oversight of volunteer placements and qualification requirements necessary to provide effective support. Reviews volunteer?s application and makes placement assessments/decisions for current vacancies. Establishes qualification requirements to include identifying education and experience requirements, required skills/abilities and considers the volunteer's level of interest to ensure quality support is provided to organizations. Visits managers and supervisors within government and private sector organizations (both on and off the installation) to promote program services, identify and discuss contributions and benefits gained from utilizing volunteers and to address and resolve concerns or problems stemming from inadequate or improper services provided by volunteer employees.
