And if you can reduce all these tasks to automated/self-service solutions, then we can move on to the really fun stuff. :) Responsibilities Include: Maintain and troubleshoot issues with office network (LAN/wireless/internet connectivity) Maintain and improve phone system (managed VOIP) Manage and improve corporate email system, including account updates (hosted Exchange + qmail) Desktop support in mixed Mac/Windows environment Setting up new employees and orienting them to IT resources Tracking inventory & assets, handling hardware/software purchases Designing and implementing company-wide policies related to security and controls Anything else related to internal systems (wiki, blog, document management, reporting) and ongoing projects to make them better Ideal candidate 5+ years hands-on experience in an IT role (or enough time to have seen it all) Thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, high-energy startup environment.
