Job Description:
There are several 2nd shift openings for Industrial Services Mechanics (who have ammonia refrigeration training or experience) with this consumer products manufacturer. Duties will vary depending on your mechanical level: Skilled, Multi-Skilled, or Technician; and will include: repairing and maintaining industrial services equipment - water chemistry, steam generation, various pumps, spiral freezers, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, and dryers; troubleshooting; plumbing systems maintenance; daily computer data entry; working from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and layouts; and performing preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment. Job Requirements:
Education: HS Diploma or GED required and Ammonia Refrigeration training or experience.
Required Skills: Candidates must have training or experience in ammonia refrigeration; previous industrial services experience is preferred with boilers, fluid dynamics and water; good mechanical and electrical skills; knowledge of Lock out Tag out system; and knowledge of the basic fundamentals of maintenance; knowledge and safety of basic hand tools; good math aptitude; and detail oriented with strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must be able and willing to work 2nd shift-12 hour days; 2 days on, 2 days off; 3 days on, 3 days off – a total of 7 days in a 14 day period.
