Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring Quality Policies including LPS, LQMS & ISO requirements, process capabilities, SpecX requirements along with related process capabilities & improvement opportunities. Production responsibilities include 2nd shift Custom Department. This position will provide additional depth of skills within our custom department and 2nd shift as well as support for various raw material formulations & ROC initiatives. Required (Basic) Experience & Education Bachelors degree, preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field and 3+ years supervisory experience in food manufacturing environment, preferably union environment, with progressive leadership responsibilities; or three years food plant experience in lieu of college degree with 1+ years supervisory experience. Must have strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and data entry skills; ability to communicate with a variety of people and negotiate priorities; demonstrated written communication skills; capacity for consistently meeting deadlines; ability to manage multiple projects; solid organization and detail orientation, and excellent follow-through skills. This position will require one weekend per month
