Job Description:
Record and edit video to support the presentation of assigned news stories. Conduct and record live interviews. Deliver compelling well-written stories. Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the appropriate news managers. Position Requirements: TAPE IN ANY FORMAT REQUIRED. High School Diploma or equivalent required . Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required in journalism or related field. Two to four years experience as a reporter, photojournalist or producer. Compter literacy required, including newsroom computer systems. Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred. Knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment. Edit video on Final Cut Pro editing systems, or similar equipment. Strong broadcast and AP style writing skills. Proficient at posting content to various websites. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Available for various work schedules, night/weekends and/or holidays. Must have valid drivers license, good driving record and provide proof of insurability.
