Record & edit video to support the presentation of assigned news stories 5. Conduct and record live interviews 6. Deliver compelling, well-written stories 7. Perform other duties as needed and as directed by news managers Position Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required in journalism or related field Experience: Two to four years experience as a reporter, photojournalist or producer Equipment: Computer literacy required, including newsroom computer systems. Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment. Edit video on Final Cut Pro editing systems or similar equipment. Strong broadcast and AP style writing skills. Proficient at posting content to various websites. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Available for various work schedules, nights/weekends and/or holidays. Physically capable of consistently lifting appoximately 30 - 40 lbs. and able to tolerate standing for long period of time.
