Job Description:
Creative and detail-oriented writer to develop stories for media coverage and respond to requests from local and national news media, including medical/science, consumer, business and med/health trade. Will draft materials such as news releases, background information press kits, media advisories and other tools for marketing new opportunities to the media. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field and 4 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications, including 1 year in health care marketing communications. Must be able to manage multiple projects and work well with creative staff, administrators and academic medical professionals.
