Each unit has an additional salaried manager and two 3rd level supervisors. This position reports to the Director of Operations. This Chef/Mgr is responsible for training full time hourly employees in culinary techniques, customizing menus in a platform dining environment and improving financials as related to menus, food production, inventory and purchasing as well as other managerial responsibilities. Well established campus with 5 years left on current contract. We are looking for an energetic individual that relates well with students and is excited to involve students in the world of culinary arts. cb Job Description Position Summary: Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group.
