Job Description:
Maintain documentation necessary to comply with the Site Safety Management Plan, OSHA and other applicable regulations. Provide monthly reports to JV Board. Represent the Project in incident investigations, complaints, and recommend measure to management to prevent reoccurrences. Interact with OSHA and other regulatory agencies regarding citations, accidents, claims, site visits and audits. Organize and conduct safety meetings and training. Review the Sub-contractor\'s submittals for compliance with the regulations. Verify that subcontractors are monitoring the implementation of the Site Safety Management Plan. Manage the project safety committee, maintain minutes and status report for safety and other meetings and events. Having a strong familiarity with union work environments as well as experience in highway construction is a plus. Please note that this position is a Project Hire expected to last approximately 2 Years Basic Qualifications: Must have HSE&Q experience on heavy/civil construction sites, be able to develop and deliver HS&E training, in-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, organized, communicates well (written and oral), strong computer and presentation skills, team player and detail-oriented.
