Job Description:
Responsible for the complete definition of the market\'s requirements for each new product including: cost targets, time to market, hardware, software, firmware, mezzanine standards, user documentation, proof of design documentation, collateral material, sales training material, photography, obsolescence management and variant strategy. Provide regular quantitative and subjective market feedback on the product area(s) of responsibility. As a member of the Echorek Product Group, provide guidance and direction related to market-driven technical and cost requirements. Partner with product marketing team to develop and maintain all the sales tools necessary for the success of the product(s) in the marketplace. Identify partnership opportunities to build partner relationships, negotiate and structure deals and business relationships. Coordinate third-party collaborative product development, marketing and business capture activities as appropriate. Act as the focal point for external enquiries from customers, field sales and Manufacturer\'s Representatives for all product-related issues. Partner with Account Management in support of field sales activities as needed. Partner with Mercury Contracts group and lead proposal generation process. Provide product forecast information including end-of-life planning Qualifications: 5-7+ yrs of Product Management with a proven track record in defining and launching integrated products. BS in engineering, computer science; MBA or equivalent experience preferred Additional Preferred Qualifications: Strong leadership skills and ability to build strong partnering relationships with customers, outsourced partners and internal staff , peers, and engineering teams. Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional teamwork among Sale.
