Job Description:
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Engineering, Sales Engineering, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.Job Responsibilities:· Work closely with company\'s development to understand key requirements and define product features for our line of products· Outline the short- and long-term roadmaps for product as a whole and for each of its key feature areas· Synthesize diverse requirements coming from some of the world's leading technical people· Work on product planning with Development and Sales Engineering teams, including developing short-term release plans as well as multi-year product roadmaps· Collect, synthesize and prioritize customer feedback, using a combination of live customer feedback sessions and additional feedback mechanisms· Track and report on the technical market and alternative offerings· Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities· Develop sales tools and collateral Required Skills: Job Qualifications:· Bachelor\'s Degree in computer science or equivalent· 10-20 years of programming experience· 10 years of database programming and/or on-line transaction processing.· Highly technical knowledge of operating systems, compiler and interpreter methods, software engineering techniques, software interface, and computer languages with a broad base understanding of issues on both a systems and application level· Familiarity with company\'s products a must· Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent product.
