RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities Research and identify opportunities for Amazon to further distinguish its global payments offering Establish the product mission, goals and supporting business metrics and indicators for a best in class retail payment product. Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going, intimate knowledge of existing customers and non-customers (prospects and competitors). Drive the payment processing solution set across stakeholders (primarily Development/Engineering, Customer Experience, Operations, Legal/Compliance and Accounting) through market requirements, product requirements and positioning. Develop and implement a go-to-market plan, working with all departments and channels to execute. Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to the customers and amazon.com global payments services. Assess existing and potential partner/vendor relationships (sell-side and buy-side) necessary for a world class payments product. Qualifications 5+ years of software product management/product marketing experience, preferably in a business software, consumer financial services, retail or online services company. Knowledgeable in technology development best practices and product management methodology Knowledgeable in the global retail payments industry Excellent cross-functional project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills Bachelor\'s degree; mathematics, computer science (or related discipline) and/or business administration, economics or finance preferred Masters and/or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline and MBA a strong plus.
