Tax Managers use their expertise in accounting and taxation to lead tax planning projects and provide consulting services to federal clients. They must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients tax needs. a As a Manager in our Federal Tax practice in the Federal National Tax Services Group, you will be offering day-to-day management of projects through the delivery of tax consulting services to the client. Youraprimary responsibilities include implementation of valuable tax consulting projects and the oversight of complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries; participation in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates;aand research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues encountered during our projects. A Manager supervises assignments by the professional accountants serving as Tax Consultants and Seniors. They have responsibility for the development and motivation of engagement staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven, extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation in a given industry/service line.
