Job Description:
We are looking for someone to lead one of our challenging clinical programs. Responsibilities include: ?Leading a team of clinical research professionals in the development and conduct of clinical trials. Provides guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals. Keeps abreast of current state-of-the-art developments and provides education to clinical staff and other project team members, as needed. Establishes operating procedures that affect subordinate organizational units. ?Specifically, establishes and maintains direction of the clinical development through strategic planning within a broader cross-functional team. Translates clinical research concepts into specific objectives and activities to effectively achieve program goals. Ensures the design and conduct of valid clinical studies, which will generate data supportive of Regulatory applications and business/marketing objectives. ?Acts as key contact between other cross functional team members to address study conduct inquiries. Identifies issues and propose solutions for study related issues. Collaborates with other departments, outside consultants, contractors and vendors and represents the clinical research department in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with the project and resolution of clinical issues. ?Responsible for overseeing the writing/editing key study documents including (but not limited to): Study Operations Manual, Project Plan, Monitoring Manual, Source Documentation Worksheets, and Study Specific Procedures. ?Develops and manages the clinical program budget. ?Identifies and develops relationships with external consultants, investigators and vendors. ?Oversees the maintenance of in-house GCP documentation study payments and the development of: tracking databases, study manuals, investigational site communication, and informed consent templates.
