The Higher Education Sector Manager will provide comprehensive management in the development and implementation of green building and planning at colleges, universities and other institutions of higher learning, and will coordinate higher education related efforts throughout the organization. This sector manager will also be responsible for achieving annual business plan goals for the recruitment of campus participants and implementation of quantified green building activity on college and university campuses throughout the US. Specific Responsibilities Include: Program Management: Support development and implementation of annual program budget and business plan in collaboration with other departmental staff. Handle administrative and customer service tasks as needed. Prepare program and financial progress reports as needed. Assist in general program areas such as creating new resources for customers, defining technology infrastructure needs, planning events for customers, and various other needs Outreach and Marketing: Lead development and delivery of resources, events, services and training Initiate and develop relationships with the higher education community including collaborative relationships with related non-profits and associations. Spearhead strategic partnerships and sponsorships. Coordinate with Chapters staff to advance student-led green building efforts, supplying campus leadership groups with materials, resources and training.
