The Higgins Group, Inc., one of the top retained executive search firms serving physician leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, has been retained by a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry to find an Associate Director/Director, Clinical Research & Development to join a dynamic clinical research team focused on the treatment of hematologic malignancies. The position will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of a large, global, multi-center clinical study focused on a CML indication. The team is small and cohesive, well-resourced and highly committed to advancing research within hematology. Education Requirements: MD, Board Certified Job Requirements: Board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics, with expertise in hematology. Board certified in Hematology preferred. The ideal candidate possess outstanding clinical skills, expertise in clinical research, excellent communication skills (oral and written), and a team-oriented, flexible, hands-on personal style. Previous pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience is a plus.
