Job Description:
Using adult learning methodology, partners with HR Consultants to design and deliver core workplace learning courses and customized workplace-learning programs for departments. Uses blended training methods, including e-learning principles, to maximize learning. Determines when to utilize external resources (consultants/vendors) in order to meet objectives. Works with Faculty Affairs and UMMHC to create Leadership Development curriculum. Design and develop training materials, job aids and/or written material to promote and reinforce learning Engage in ILT and distance learning curriculum design Manages Employee Recognition activities Supports the creation of the UMMS HR newsletter Participates in the Acting as a Single Entity Initiative with the UMMHC through leadership development and training program collaboration. Participates in the evaluation of distance learning and other technology aided education and training solutions for both employee and leadership education efforts. Designs and implements appropriate methods of evaluating courses and organizational development interventions. Support and provide quality control and consistent delivery of HR communications, client deliverables, HR initiatives, Department Head presentations, marketing materials and website communications. Stays current on trends in the Human Resources field to ensure solutions are state-of-the art and meet legal regulations.
